Plumbing Trade Test – Section 26D Red Seal
Become a qualified plumber through our QCTO-accredited Plumbing Trade Test. Nomanzi Trade College assists experienced plumbers with ARPL, trade test preparation, and the final trade test in a professional, fully equipped plumbing workshop.
Entry Requirements – Plumbing
- Have a minimum of 3 years proven electrical work experience
- Have gained your experience within South Africa
- Be able to read and write English
Documentation Required
- Certified copy of South African ID (not older than 3 months)
- Service letter(s) or affidavit confirming work experience
- Foreign nationals: certified passport copy, valid work permit, and service letter
- Affidavit accepted if self-employed or previous employer has closed
What You Will Be Tested On
- Installing and assembling copper piping, basins, showers, and toilets
- Installing below-ground drainage systems, GMS gutters, box gutters, and vent pipe flashings
- Installing high-pressure and push-through geysers
- Marking out and cutting sheet metal for test requirements
Accreditation & Certification
- QCTO-accredited trade test centre
- NAMB-registered assessors
- Section 26D Red Seal certificate issued by QCTO
Before You Apply
- New intakes available upon application
- Safety shoes are compulsory
- Candidates must bring basic stationery (pen, pencil, notebook, whiteboard marker)
- Training is conducted in English
