Electrical Trade Test – Section 26D Red Seal
Entry Requirements – Electrical
- Have a minimum of 3 years proven electrical work experience
- Have gained your experience within South Africa
- Be able to read and write English
Documentation Required
- Certified copy of South African ID (not older than 3 months)
- Service letter(s) or affidavit confirming work experience
- Foreign nationals: certified passport copy, valid work permit, and service letter
- Affidavit accepted if self-employed or previous employer has closed
What You Will Be Tested On
- Electrical installations
- Testing and fault finding
- Motors, starters, and control systems
- Electrical safety and compliance
Accreditation & Certification
- QCTO-accredited trade test centre
- NAMB-registered assessors
- Section 26D Red Seal certificate issued by QCTO
Before You Apply
- New intakes are available weekly
- Safety shoes are compulsory
- Candidates must bring basic stationery
- Training is conducted in English
